Ambulance 6-1
Ambulance 6-1, often times upgraded to Paramedic 6-1, has full compliment of BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advanced Life Support) equipment. In addition, this unit is stocked with two SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), water rescue first responder equipment, and responds with Dive 6-1 on all calls. This is the only volunteer ALS transport unit in Dorchester County.
