There is no better feeling than being able to help someone in their time of need, and there's no better way to do that than through becoming a volunteer firefighter and/or EMT. Being a volunteer in emergency departments takes hard work, commitment and dedication, however the rewards are priceless.

What Happens Once I Join?

The Hurlock Volunteer Fire Company will provide you with training and gear for FREE!

You will first attend and pass the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute (MFRI) Firefighter I or EMT-B class depending on your type of memebership (Firefighter or EMS). There are other classes we encourage members to take including EVOC, Hazmat Operations, Rescue Tech, Fire Officer, and a host of others
